The Right Steps Initiatives (RSI) is a movement established in 2017 by African Migrants living in Nottingham. RSI helps African families living in the UK especially those living in Nottingham to address social issues such as poverty, who tend to hardly come together to address social issues such as poverty, matters affecting children including education and welfare, managing a living in the diaspora other factors affecting immigrants.
Most of these families suffer in isolation and RSI stands in the gap as it addresses the need to raise awareness bringing families and community leaders to discuss the way forward for progress. Right Steps Initiatives aim to embrace every nation despite their status and culture alongside the promotion of girls, women and families

It is also about the stimulation and development of local communities, with special attention to girls’ and women’s welfare and education, sisterhood relationship among girls and women through training of moral standards and exchange of cultural values that promotes unity and development and bring back values locally and nationally
